The Palarong Pambansa is a
yearly sports event that is organized and conducted by
the Department of Education and is participated in by elementary and
high school students in both private and public schools. This annual event is the breeding ground for future national athletes that will be competing in international sports events like the SEA Games, Asian Games and the pinnacle of all sports competitions-the Olympics. The games will serve as a means of promoting unity and camaraderie among the participants and give opportunities to further the athlete's social,physical, and mental well-being.
The Province of Davao del Norte is very privileged to host this year's Palarong Pambansa and is being dubbed as "The Best Palaro Ever". This sports event will put a lasting legacy to the province' very colorful history. The Filipino's indomitable spirit will again be showcased in the sports disciplines that will be played by both elementary and high school students.
